Summary:碩士 === 輔仁大學 === 兒童與家庭學系碩士班 === 99 === The purpose of this study was to explore the family child care environment. The main purposes were: 1.To understand the current condition of the family child care environment. 2. To discuss the infant/toddler care of family child care. 3. To analyze the planning and using of the family child care environment. 30 participants who provided 0-3 years old infants/toddlers, and Family Day Care Rating Scale(FDCRS)were used to observe and interview. Family Day Care Rating Scale(FDCRS)including : space and furnishing, basic needs, language and reasoning, learning activities, social development and adult need. The results were as follow: 1. The total average of family child care environments all reach "minimal" above to "good". Especially, " language and reasoning" and " adult need " reach "good" above. 2. The infant/toddler care of family child care was according to " basic needs", and the average reaches between "minimal" and "good". "Arrives/leaves "and" health", reach "good" above, but "safe" reach "minimal" above. 3. The planning and using of the family child care environment was according to " space and furnishing ", " language and reasoning ", " learning activities ", " social development " and " adult need ". " Space and furnishing " reach "minimal" above to "good"; " language and reasoning " reach "good" above; " learning activities " reach closely to "good"; " social development " reach near "good" and " adult need " reach "good" above. 4. According to the interview of the planning and using of the family child care environment, 30 providers use the safe equipments to avoid infants/toddlers accident ; 30 providers give infants/toddlers materials, toys, the picture-books, the story books, and the cartoon DVD, which suit for infants’/toddlers’ ages, and also plan the learning activities for infants/toddlers.
