Her grandfather and her mother are both bonesetters. As a grad student, she decides to study and practice the family art of bone setting with her mother. Using narrative inquiry and action research methods, this articles describes her involvement and discoveries during this process. The author describes how she connect both bonesetters and hard-hearing students, and develop new frame of helping profession with bone setting cultural history.
