The Ta-Tung(大同) concept( Great Harmony) is the important fundamental subject of the future education. There fore, how to carry out this concept in each education system is the main motivation and purpose for this research. Primary education is a vital phase to develop students’ personality and the concepts of life. This research is to study how to integrate The Ta-Tung concept with nowaday Grade 1-9 Curriculum for elementary school. The conceptual framework of this research has four stages that combine with two concepts of the system development and concentric circles system and integrate the Ta-Tung concept into the primary education. The four stages are the word learning, the sentence implication, the practice of daily life, and building up the spirit. There are sixteen principles are the basis for this integration design. The empirical study with Shen-Gou Elementary School in Yilan County shows some results as follows: First, widower and widow, the two words are not taught in the language field of elementary school. By conducting Chinese supplementary teaching, the whole words learning of Chapter of Great harmony can be completes. The five principles of the word learning can be effectively finished the word recognition of the Chapter of Great Harmony into Grade 1-6 teaching arrangement but two words should to make complemetary education. Second, the stage of the sentence implication is to do the integrating teaching in accordance with the implication of the Chapter of Great Harmony. The whole essay is separated into twenty sentences. This stage will start from third semester. After the integrating teaching of the first sentence, The world is a Commonwealth, the second sentence will be started from the sixth semester. Third, the stage of the daily life practice includes two integrating teaching principles. One of the principles is the daily life practice should base on the Ta-Tung meaning of sentence segmentation. The other one is to arrange all the daily life practice should make with central learning topic in the whole semester. Fourth, the stage of building up the spirit includes four principles. This stage is to realize the inside spirit of Great Harmony by the stage of daily life practice. Fifth, the empirical study shows the necessity and completeness of the four stages and the sixteen principles. It also shows the Chapter of Great Harmony can be effectively operate in the integrating teaching into the elementary school.
