This study is focused on process improvement of the computer repair in the after-sale service. A real case was illustrated in this study to demonstrate how lean manufacturing concepts can be applied to such service processes. A lean manufacturing technique, value stream mapping (VSM), was used to analyze the flow of the repairing processes. The work contents of the operators are rearranged. Waste was then eliminated and the overall productivity was increased in the case studied.
