Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 通訊工程所 === 99 === The goal of this thesis is to propose a blind channel estimation method for SIMO single-carrier (SC) with frequency-domain equalization (FDE) systems. By using a periodic modulation sequence and the circulant structure of the channel matrix, the autocorrelation matrix of the received signal can be rearranged into a system of linear equations in a block circulant form. By solving the special linear system, we can estimate the channel coefficients up to a scalar ambiguity. We also optimally design the periodic sequence to reduce the effect of the channel noise. In addition, we also discuss the impact of the optimal periodic sequence on symbol error rate. Simulation results are used to demonstrate the performance of the proposed method.
