Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 經營管理碩士在職專班 === 99 === In the contemporary Internet era, the electronic mail plays a crucial role among the communication technologies. But on the same token the overabundant amount of junk mails has also became a problem. The junk mail has now grown into a form of waste of public resources and has severely damaged the creditability of internet service. Regardless of the junk mail filter mechanism established within the system by the email service provider, the overflow of junk mails still end up in the users’ mail box, which nauseated people a lot. Currently actions taken toward junk mails are set out differently by each internet service provider in accordance with the contract signed, it is also being supervised by National Communication Commission to regulate the junk email. However the overflow of junk mails is far more than email service provider can handle. The ISP servicers remain helpless against such issues; the only thing helpful to be done is the frequent guidance to users, reminding them to be cautious of emails to prevent the virus from spreading and causing further damage. This research conducts a case study to examine how a company introduces a information system approach to revise the operational work flow procedure to improve performance. Through data analysis, results show that induction information system to process anti-spam has positive impact on the effectiveness of employees, project completion rate and also disposition of manpower.
