Summary: | 碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 材料與製造工程所 === 99 === This thesis is to optimize the stresses of the polarizer attached above TFT-LCD on upright polarizer attached manufacture. The attached surface is rubber materials behaved with a nonlinear, incompressible characteristic. Mooney-Rivlin theoretical model are used herein to solve the stress-strain relationship of hyperelastic materials. The study uses ANSYS and LS-DYNA software to simulate the fitting roller and glass panel for attached applying rolling method, and the fitting roller is under different loading conditions. The aim is to achieve the uniform pressure situation between the fitted roller and the glass panel in order to make the compact between the polarizer and the glass panel will reach perfect condition with no air bubbles left.
To analyze upright polarizer attached manufacture processes, this study is using Taguchi’s method with different attachment parameters, included attached Rubber material, rubber hardness of the attached fitting roller, and fitting roller''s displacement. In order to find the optimal parameter, we analyze the stresses between upright fitting roller and glass panel and the Taguchi’s optimal stresses that match the compactness between the polarizer and the glass panel reaching perfect condition with no air bubbles left. The findings of this study show that if the rubber surface''s rubber hardness of fitting roller is smaller, the fitting roller forward stress distribution will be more uniform. Furthermore, if the displacement of fitting roller is smaller, the fitting roller stress distribution will be more uniform.
