Description
Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 化學工程學所 === 99 === In this study, we have prepared ferric oxide nanoparticles by high gravity liquid precipitation method. FeCl3 and NaOH were chosen as raw materials. Several factors that affected the PSD, particle size distribution, including rotation speed, concentration of raw materials, and calcination process were investigated. The results showed that Fe(OH)3 nanoparticle’s PSD were about 2.6 nm at rotating speed 1500 rpm (35G). When adding 0.0008M polyelectrolyte disperant of polyacrylic acid (PAA) in the NaOH stock solution, we obtained Fe(OH)3 whose numerical average size was 17.8 nm. After drying and calcining, we obtanied Fe2O3 powder with the average size of 80 nm.
