Facing the pressure of competition in the industry and the pressure to lower price, panel makers have to master their own business performance and create competitive advantage. The object of this thesis is to analyze the operation efficiency of 4 main backlight unit suppliers of AUO by DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis). The data range was from 2005 to 2009 respectively. The input items include operating cost, number of employees, and total assets of investment. And operating income and value added products are the output items. We can identify the advantages and disadvantages of each manufacturers through DEA model analysis result and then to dig out the management direction for improvement. The results showed that most of the manufacturers didn’t perform the optimal efficiency in the value-added item. To improve the efficiency, manufacturers should reduce the number of employees, decrease the investment of total assets, and expand the production scale to achieve the best efficiency value. none 鄭豐聰 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 56 zh-TW |
