The abilities of cost saving and prompt response impact the competence of the manufacturers, especially in materials, cost and quality both impact the BOM cost rate and the products reliability, are the key factors to manufacturers to control. For a purchasing department, supplier selection and evaluation are the key function of the supplier management. Good suppliers can not only provide low cost components with stable quality, but also support the new products development. In general, the key factors of supplier selection are cost, quality, delivery, service and flexibility. In the research of supplier selection, some approaches were presented, such as Analytic Hierarchy Process, Multiple Attributes Decision Making, and Evidential Reasoning Approach. Dickson (1966) listed 23 suppliers selection criteria, was the base of further studies of supplier selection. In this research, Fuzzy Quality Function Deployment is developed to construct a supplier selection model, and applied this model to the woods industry, expect to improve the purchasing efficiency of the supply chain of woods industry, and be the example for further researches of woods industry supply chain
