Student: Ching-Ting Tsai Advisor: Prof.Ya-Chin Lang D a - Y e h U n i v e r s i t y Abstract The purpose of this research is to discuss the leisure motivation, leisure involvement and leisure benefits of cosplay activities.The research has used the questionnaire survey by purposive sampling, the total number of questionnaires were set at 298, with 296 being returned. The results of the analysis were as follows: (1)The typical profile of samples was a female, 19 to 22 year-old student, with an amount of monthly personal disposable income less than NT$5000 .(2)In respect of leisure motivation,「social benefit」ranked the highest, followed by 「competence-mastery」、「Intellectual」and 「stimulus-avoidance」.(3) In respect of social psychological involvement,「pleasure」and「importance」ranked the highest, followed by 「sign」、and 「perceived risk」.(4)In respect of leisure benefits,「social benefit」ranked the highest, followed by 「educational」、 「relaxation」and 「psychological」. (5)There were significant differences in social psychological involvement and leisure benefits among cosplayers with varied demographic backgrounds. (i. e., age) (6) 「Social」、「competence-mastery」and「stimulus-avoidance」were among the factors used to predict education benefit.(7)「Pleasure」and「sign」 were among the factors used to predict leisure benefits. (8)「Social benefit」、「competence-mastery 」and「stimulus-avoidance」were among the factors used to predict leisure benefits.
