The professional competence of teachers has impacts on the quality of educational outcomes. To enhance the professional competence of teachers, administrative authorities actively promote teacher evaluation system, while the teacher evaluation system and the attitude toward evaluation are the key to factors to conduct a successful evaluation. In this study, we explore different backgrounds and different teacher training channels will affect the acceptance level towards the evaluation. The purpose of this study is to investigate the acceptance level of the implementation of teacher professional development evaluation in Changhua County elementary school teachers. The results provide specific recommendations for the authorities in charge of education, and implementation of national primary and secondary schools to enhance the professional development for the teachers. This study used questionnaire survey method to collect data from elementary schools in Changhua County's director, head of the subject teachers and class teachers. It also conducted survey on the attitude for different teacher training channels for teachers receiving professional development evaluation of the implementation of research questionnaire in Changhua County. The questionnaire return ratio is 86.4%. The data are analyzed by mean , standard deviation, t-test, one-way ANOVA in order to proceed a posteriori comparison. The main findings are shown as follows: 1.Changhua County elementary school teachers is still not high on the acceptance of evaluation, regarding teacher training channels from Teachers College, University Department of Education generally, Center for Teacher Education higher than Postgraduate teaching classes. 2.The variables including Gender, highest level of education, job evaluation on the overall acceptability of teachers' professional development are significantly different. 3.“Teachers’ self-reflection” “can promote teacher peer collaboration”, “promote theviprofessional growth of elementary school teachers" Those three statements are teachers’ motivation toward evaluation. 4.Evaluation methods and data sources on the perception of "self-evaluation to teacher fill out the checklist," "teaching observation and record," "teacher interviews," Those three statements are highly regarded. 5.Evaluation in the face of the difficulties, teachers should be involved in evaluation a positive attitude and trust in the fairness and credibility of evaluation.
