As the saying “Eating is the most important thing.” Food is not the only basic need of human survival, but also a prerequisite to maintain the social stability. Since the late twentieth century, because of the rapid flow in global population and species, that connected with volatile world situation. The extent and scope of human interdependence affected deeply and widely with each other than ever before. Food is not only to solve the basic problem of existence, also to relate with national security and food crisis that must be faced in the world.
In this study, I explore the food shortage from several directions:
(1) in food supplying and demanding
(2) in trending of global population growth
(3) in climate changing connected with food
(4) in bio-fuel policy connected with food
(5) in oil prices connected with food
(6) in demanding for meat connected with food
(7) in poverty and unequal distribution connected with food
I gather all information from several aspects and make integration of inductive. Then I can put forward feasible suggestions. How to educate our next generation to care for the Earth's resources in this food shortage time is very important, especially for an elementary school teacher, we hope to stop the Earth's environment deteriorating and to better it. In terms of human qualities in culture, we must to train students the brotherhood spirit. We see those people hungry or struggle in life just as we are. To love those people is the first step to solve the food-shortage problem.
