The subjects were 297 sixth graders in five elementary schools drawn from Tainan City and their main caregivers. The “Inventory of Main Caregivers’ Attitudes toward Sexuality education” (MASE), the “Inventory of Elementary School Students’ Sexuality Attitudes” (SSA) and the “Elementary School Students’ Sex Knowledge Test” (SSKT) were administered. The main findings were as follows: 1.The main caregivers tended to support the positive factors in MASE, including ‘’the form and content of sexuality education”, “the advantage of sexuality education” and ‘’the accountability of family in sexuality education’’. 2.The main caregivers tended to reject the negative factors in MASE, including “the obstacle and worry in implementing sexuality education” and ”the stereotype of sex role” . 3.There were significant differences in some MASE factor scores among different kinds of main caregivers. 4.There were significant differences in some MASE factor scores among different educational background of main caregivers. 5.There were no significant differences in MASE scores among different ages of main caregivers. 6.Most of the students performed excellently in SSKT. 7.There were significant but low correlations between main caregivers’ attitudes toward sexuality education and the sixth graders’ sex knowledge. The five MASE factors accounted for 4 .80 % of total variance in SSKT score. 8.Sixth graders tended to support some positive factors in SSA, including “understanding physical development in puberty and respecting self body”, “preventing sexual harassment and rape”, and “protecting self body secrecy”. 9.Sixth graders tended to reject some negative factors in SSA, including ”the stereotype of sex role”. 10.There were significant but low correlations between main caregivers’ attitudes toward sexuality education and the sixth graders’ sex sexuality attitudes. The five MASE factors accounted for 3.497 % of total variance in SSA scores. Wang Jungtsai 汪榮才 2011 學位論文 ; thesis 141 zh-TW |

碩士 === 台灣首府大學 === 教育研究所 === 99 === The main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between main caregivers’ attitudes toward sexuality education and the sixth graders’ sex knowledge and sexuality attitudes.
The main findings were as follows:
1.The main caregivers tended to support the positive factors in MASE, including ‘’the form and content of sexuality education”, “the advantage of sexuality education” and ‘’the accountability of family in sexuality education’’.
9.Sixth graders tended to reject some negative factors in SSA, including ”the stereotype
of sex role”.
10.There were significant but low correlations between main caregivers’ attitudes toward sexuality education and the sixth graders’ sex sexuality attitudes. The five MASE factors accounted for 3.497 % of total variance in SSA scores.
