In the beginning, the point focused on taking the first advantage and the early development of system. Nowadays, the way for an organization to do integration with business informationization would be emphasized even more in order to improve the company competitiveness. Therefore, by employing the four factors of SIA assessment model as the dimensions for company competitiveness, and the fifteen factors of information orientation as the dimensions for business informationization, the study will find out which dimensions in business informationization are affecting the performance in company competitiveness and vice versa. The study takes SMEs as research objectives since they are the majority in Taiwan’s industries. The results of the correlation analysis showed that the ability of “Reduce Costs” in company competitiveness is highly related to the ability of “IT for Operational Support,” “IT for Business Process Support” and “Processing” in business informationization. The ability of “Minimize Risks” in company competitiveness is highly related to the ability of “Sensing,” “Collecting” and “Control” in business informationization. The ability of “Add Value” in company competitiveness is highly related to the ability of “Integrity” and “Sharing” in business informationization. The ability to “Create New Reality” in company competitiveness is highly related to the ability to “Maintaining” and “Proactiveness” in business informationization.
