With automobiles, people dramatically change their life styles. For instance, people can drive their cars to other cities to work; they don’t have to work only in cities where they live. Therefore, automobiles can play a role of shortening the distances between urban and rural areas; furthermore, the automobile convenience and its product value fasten the development of automobile industry. However, for these days, automobiles are not a dream anymore; instead, people cannot help but think its necessity. In spite of the worry, the new technological development creates a turning point automobile future; in other words, the automobile life won’t disappear. This study tries to explore the contemporary life by discussion between automobiles and the road spaces and its derived various new life styles. Also, based on the basic framework and the common philosophy of automobile industry, this study tries to propose a possible design of automobile life, taking an experimental employee dormitory as well as a community where demonstrates automobile life as an example.
