Therefore, industry must integrate existing knowledge along with the interior capability reorganization and external resources to achieve competitive advantage.
In order to study the source of enterprise competitive strength, the objective of this research is to help industry enhance long-term sustainable competitive capability by drawing up the integrated structure of permanent innovation and dynamic capability based on study of methodologies of dynamic capability and permanent innovation. Hopefully, the result of this study can help companies in the rapidly changing environment enhancing the dynamic competitive and competition-cooperation relationship and reducing weakness factors.
This research uses Taiwan machinery industry as a case study. Ou Yung Sheng’s study on qualitative research was used to describe the assumptions and analyses of dynamic competition and competition-cooperation. A second questionnaire was designed by Chung Tsung Ting‘s quantitative research to investigate whether industry can develop dynamic competition-cooperation relationship inside their own industry cluster while facing the rapidly changing environment. Finally, this research used Porter’s SWOT analysis and the Diamond theory to establish Taiwan industry’s competitive strategy, and the key factors for the strategies to be successful. With the research, hope that the manufacturing-centered Taiwan industry can take advantages of the proposed permantent dynamic competition and cooperation strategies to create new industry value and improve market competitiveness.
