Description
Summary:碩士 === 中原大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 99 === A PV/fuel cell (PV/FC) hybrid converter (PV/FC-HC) with new power-increment maximum power point tracking (PI-MPPT) is proposed. The PV/FC hybrid converter consisting of a PV boost converter (PVBC) as current source and a FC Z-source (FZZC) as voltage source can adaptively provide constant output power to the DC bus without backup battery for regulation. The proposed PI-MPPT guiding the PVBC with an easy duty-control makes energy pump from PV module accurate and fast. The Z-source converter adopted is to fit the FC characteristic and well do as a basis for hybrid. A complementary duty-cycle control between dB of PVBC and dZ of FCZC can adaptively vary each other as per the solar insolation change, which contributes not only output power to DC bus constant but also energy saving from FC. An experimental setup of 230W PV/FC-HC is designed and examined for assessing the performance and feasibility in application.
