This study employed “Questionnaire of Teacher’s Emotional Intelligence” and “Questionnaire of Teacher’s Well-Being” for data collection. As a result of stratified random sampling by administrative division, there were 490 valid samples for this study. The collected data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, T Test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson porduct-moment correlation, canonical correlation and stepwise multiple regression analysis.The conclusions of the study were as follows: 1. The current situation of senior and vocational high school teachers’ emotional intelligence in Taoyan County was above average, the highest dimension is ”emotion adjustment ”;the lowest one is “emotion recognition.” 2. The current situation of senior and vocational high school teachers’ well-being in Taoyan County was above average, the highest dimension is ”relationship ”;the lowest one is “health.” 3. Age indeed caused a significant difference in the level of emotional intelligence but had no significant difference in the overall emotional intelligence. 4. Gender plays a significant role in the level and overall well-being. Age, seniority and type of school had a significant difference in the level of well-being. 5. There were significantly positive correlations between teachers’ emotional intelligence and well-being, especially the dimention ”emotion ajustment ” and “relationship”. 6. Teachers’ emotional intelligence can significantly forecast the teachers’ overall well-being, especially the dimention ”emotion adjustment ” According to the results and conclusions of this study, some suggestions were offered as references for the members in the educational correlated organizations and studies in the future.
