The contract capacity has a great impact on the electricity bill; therefore, this thesis proposes an approach to determine the optimal contract capacity to minimize electricity bill and to maximize power efficiency. This thesis proposes genetic algorithm to determine the optimal contracts of a building. To verify the feasibility of the proposed method, this thesis uses the practical data from a hospital in southern Taiwan.
