Description
Summary:碩士 === 正修科技大學 === 機電工程研究所 === 99 === Gears are the important transmission components that have a wide range of application in cars and other machineries. The traditional cutting techniques of gears has low efficiency, waste a lot of material and the continuity of the metal fiber of the billet after cutting a tooth are damaged and the life span of the gears are shortened. Thus, the local and international machining techniques developed a wide range of research on forging techniques such as rotary forging and closed-die forging among which closed-die technique is high in production, high in quality, can save energy and materials. It is one of the advanced manufacturing technologies of machine components. Applying this technique in producing gears is the mainstream of the current research. His study used ANSYS analysis to explore the contact stress and tooth root bending stress of bevel gears and used DEFORM simulation to test the effect of different temperature of cold and warm forging and the forming of the tooth profile modification of bevel gears to get the equivalent strain distribution rules of the metals during forming. By comparing forming loads, this study found that warm forging can effectively reduce loads and appropriate tip relief can avoid the possibility of stress concentration.
