Summary: | 碩士 === 嘉南藥理科技大學 === 環境工程與科學系暨研究所 === 99 === The aims of this study focused on the environmental impacts analysis for Taiwan''s waste incineration by the life cycle assessment (LCA) methods and Monte Carlo uncertainty analysis. Moreover, LCA was performed with functional unit to evaluate the greenhouse effect and acidification etc., for the incineration plants. These results may provide for the policy making for waste management. The results contained the LCA interpretation, uncertainty analysis of the paper and plastic waste, and scenario simulations of green gases mitigation. Detailed results are as follows:
.The incineration treatment LCA single scores were with the higher value of the environmental impacts like as the heavy metals, greenhouse effect and carcinogenic.
.For the waste was with the biocarbon content, the greenhouse effect were 1.87 kgCO2-eq./KWh and 781 kgCO2-eq./ton waste.
.For the waste excepted the biocarbon content, the greenhouse effect were 1.20 kgCO2-eq./KWh and 505 kgCO2-eq./ton waste.
.The greenhouse effect of paper waste, the values were on the range 0.68~3.86 kgCO2-eq./KWh and 610~865 kgCO2-eq./ton waste by the different functional unit.
.The greenhouse effect of plastic waste, the values were on the range 0.68~3.86 kgCO2-eq./KWh and 983~1399 kg CO2-eq./ton waste.
.The scenario analysis results indicated that the greenhouse gas mitigation was more effective by waste recycling.
