During construction period, different concrete strengths of a building often exist and there is also case of building extension. Therefore, evaluation of concrete strength of a building and seismic capacity evaluation for building extension are getting more attention. The study mainly targeted school buildings, including later building extension. The study adopts nonlinear static analysis, via seismic detailed-assesement aiding program of National Center for Reasearch on Earthquake Engineering, different concrete strengths of buildings or extensions to get building capacity curve and peak gound acceleration of performance objective, in order to understand seismic capacity of buildings.
