Summary: | 碩士 === 中華大學 === 應用統計學系碩士班 === 99 === With technology developing and advancing rapidly and amazingly, people in modern times cannot but keep abreast of its progress but also keep informed of the latest diversified scientific theories and information. Based on this necessity, the paper is aimed at the study on some important concepts of the college students’ conception of technology. The duration of the study went from September till December in 2010 (about 4 months), with 300 questionnaires required. With 98% of returns-ratio, 294 questionnaires are withdrawn, 287 of which are valid and 7 of which are invalid. The percentage of the valid is 97.6. Some ways of statistic analysis are applied in the study, such as the factor analysis and reliability analysis. According to the investigation, there are five main factors in play in the students’ cognition of technology.
Factor 1: The positive power and the negative influence of technology.
Factor 2: The substantial benefit of technology and its requirements of development.
Factor 3: The creative source of technology and the reflection of its value.
Factor 4: The life necessity of technology and its innovative activities.
Factor 5: The distorting phenomenon and the correspondent awareness.
