According to the results of this research, proposing some practical suggestions to the authorties concerned for reference improves the questions concerning teaching or delivering a course. This study is conducted with the method of questionaire. The number of the total questionaires sent out is 425, and 411 questionaires are returned. Valid questionnaires are 394, with valid returned rate of 92.7%. The hypotheses of this research are tested with statistical methods including percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, One-way ANOVA, Scheffé comparison, and Pearson’s product-moment correlation. The results of the study are as follows: 1. As to the learning motivation, the senior high school students hold the highest motive in “interest of learning”; as to the learning satisfaction, the students have the highest satisfaction in “instruction of teachers”. 2. Due to some different background variables, there are remarkable differences in learning motivation and satisfaction of senior high school students taking the second foreign language as an elective course in a complete school. 3. There is a remarkable positive correlation between learning motivation and learning satisfaction of senior high school students taking the second foreign language as an elective course in a complete school.
