One feature of Twin fab capacity to support real-time Capacity Backup deployment, although a single wafer can be produced to support the action, but more time-consuming and cost in the production deployment flexibility poor, based on these factors and comprehensive consideration of fab performance, making the Twin wafer support during the deployment with better effect. The study is based on Twin fab capacity in support of real-time features, make an effective decision support model, the model is in the machine can support each other in the buffer to set the WIP threshold value and WIP differentiation threshold value, the carrying capacity of managers to support decision-making can be based and more objective. WIP threshold based on the protection of the concept of the projected production capacity, its main response to the instability of the machine, to avoid machine starvation by the concept of calculation, the downstream machine by the upstream machine is not the effect of statistical fluctuations. Although the threshold can be avoided in products for production support from the factory when the operation affected, but cannot ensure the products delivered to the factory after it was found from the processing plant to stay in the waiting time is shorter. Therefore, in order to avoid such a situation occurs, this study set Queuing Theory WIP differentiation threshold in order to reduce the ineffective handling. In addition, in order to verify the model's feasibility, the paper to simulate the experimental method to verify the proposed decision support model. According to the simulation experiment in the WIP threshold value and WIP differentiation threshold value of results and model proposed in this study agreement calculated, it is proposed in this study to confirm the support of decision-making model for performance improvement Twin fab is valid, it can provide this decision support model to support wafer fab managers during the decision-making capacity has frame of reference.
