The action of ABS is based on P-R control rule proposed by Guntur. It pointed out that the boundary parameters of control variables are composed of angular, angular velocity and angular acceleration. Hence, there is not necessary to measure the speed of vehicle. A key attractive feature of the particle swarm optimization (PSO) approach is its simplicity as it involves only two model equations. In this paper, the algorithm of particle swarm optimization is proposed to find the best values of boundary parameters in P-R control rule, so that the best braking and controlling performance can be achieved
