In this paper we propose a QR decomposition based technique for ICI cancellation in OFDM systems. Under the assumption that the channel state information is exactly known, the proposed algorithm first emploies the QR decomposition on the ICI matrix, and then a spectral non-causality frequency response of OFDM system transform into spectral causality by utilizing Q matrix of QR decomposition. According to the spectral causality, ICI cancellation by precoding at the transmitter in OFDM system. Finally, simulations show that OFDM systems using the proposed algorithm obviously suppress the ICI, and addition to raise the system's performance.
