碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 醫療資訊管理研究所 === 99 === The primary purpose of the study is to examine patients’ information privacy concerns and their intention to use Medical Image Exchange Center (IEC). In this study, we use “Trust” as a moderator to examine patients’ usage intention for IEC under their information privacy concerns. Three hundred and fifty patients responded the survey which yielded a 92.3% response rate. The result of data revealed patients’ information privacy concerns have no significant relationship with patients’ intention to use IEC. After added “Trust” as a moderator, patients’ information privacy concerns do have a significant relationship with patients’ intention to use IEC, but the R square is only 4.5%. Patients’ information privacy concerns in collection, unauthorized access, errors and secondary use all have significant relationships with patients’ intention to use IEC. Based on this research result, we modified research framework as an examination about patients’ information privacy concerns in collection /non-collection and their intention to use IEC with trust as a moderator. The R square of modified framework is 18.6% and both collection /non-collection have significant relationships with patients’ intention to use IEC. Finally, implications, limitations and future research are discussed.
