Service providers can more effectively achieve the benefits of decentralization by a combination of Peer-to-Peer multimedia conferencing services with P2P-SIP. P2P-SIP using a structured P2P architecture can effectively find the user's location in a distributed environment. However, different from the traditional centralized architecture, the conference services are provided by the user where resources are distributed and heterogeneous. How to find suitable resources has become critical in P2P-SIP multimedia conferencing. In this paper, we design a Peer-to-Peer conference service system based on P2P-SIP. The main contributions of this paper can be summarized as follows: (1) We use Location-based hierarchical Overlay Networks for P2P locality and reduce the cost of network. (2) We propose a multi-dimensional resource discovery scheme for Peer-to-Peer multimedia conferencing environment, which can find the suitable resource provider in a faster time. (3) Through the two-stage resource selection strategies that allow system providing resource candidates to requester by consider both loading and utilization.
