Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 通訊工程研究所 === 99 === In the future, all kinds of industries in the world will be able to easily use an efficient, automatic, and accurate identification system for product information in various industry supply chains. This is mainly due to the invention of the Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and its integration with supply chains. On using RFID technology, product and related information can be read and integrated thus effectively increasing utilization and enhancing competitiveness significantly. The mutual sharing of information creates a win-win situation between the units and individuals through the mutual service. Because the beginning of developing RFID (Radio Frequency Identification technology) is in the early stage of the technology budding, the related standards are not easily integrated. Thus, related developments have been limited. But with the times and the advancement of technology, the advocates of RFID hope to be able to establish a global network. Without doubt, the potentiality and importance of RFID can be found again gradually.
From the perspective of the roll-call in the school campus, there are lots of places where this technology can be adopted and emphasized, in particular is campus security. Through the use of RFID technology, we can see and manage the students’ present situation. Even in other class activities, we can use RFID more extensively to make further protection of the safety of students. Through such use, we can create unseen convenience; it changes the stereotype of squandering time in the teachers’ management of the numbers in the classroom. Through the collection of real-time information, responses can be made in the teaching activities accurately and rapidly.
This Thesis mainly compares the recorded results via the proposed PDA roll-call system with the previous methods. Furthermore, these comparisons are used to analyze and determine whether there are defects and errors caused by the human or the campus environment, after the data acquisition by the PDA roll-call system. It is expected that the research results can contribute towards the development related of the technology of RFID campus roll-call system in the future.
