In an attempt to improve the employment stability of disabled job-seekers, the author attempts to identify problems of the handicapped job-seekers by using Social Network Analysis. The author considers the perspectives of the employment specialist, the disabled person, and the employers. Supported employment or employment opportunity provided by family and friends are among the social factors; the author uses the social networks relationship theory to explore whether the disabled's career or job search is affected by social networks. The study found that all three sides have a tremendous impact on the outcome. The employment specialist is especially important for the success of the disabled. The employment specialist must search and explore for career opportunities for the disabled, as well as play the role of supporter after the disabled has started a career. With the support of the employment assistant, employers are able to understand the disabled’ perspective, and help build a healthy relationship based on trust.
