Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 勞工研究所 === 99 === The study intends to explore the relationship between vocational awareness and Career self-efficacy of students in cram schools for civil service examination. A sample of 500 cram school students, including Taichung City, Fongyuan City, Da-ya Township, and Tungshih Township, was used for the research. 253 subjects were recruited as effective samples. The research is conducted with questionnaire investigation and adopted tools like vocational awareness frequency table, career self-efficacy table and personal basic date investigation table to undergo empirical data collection. Data process is done with SPSS for Windows 12.0 statistic package software system with statistical methods. The results are described as the following. Study on the difference in vocational awareness of students of cram schools with variables in individual attributes and psychological expectations has found the age, category respectively made significantly difference on the career self-efficacy. Students who will take business category in civil service examination are more confident of carrying out their career goals than that of administrative category. Study on the correlation between vocational awareness and career self-efficacy of students has shown that there was significant relationship among “age”, “degree”, “self assessment ability”, “problem solving ability”, “future plan ability”, “goal orientation”, “data collection ability” and career self-efficacy. The results indicate a significant relationship between higher levels of vocational awareness and higher levels of Career self-efficacy. Moreover, several suggestions were provided to the practice and the future research.
