碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 戰略暨國際事務研究所 === 99 === Since the opening up of cross-strait interaction in 1987, people on both sides come and go frequently, the relationships also get from isolation into interaction. With the dramatic increasing intermarriages, many people enter Taiwan and take illegal activities with false marriage, even become the victim of population traffics. Especially, the missing mainland Chinese spouse increase year by year and it’s easy to become the public security or the economic crimes question. The regulation of mainland Chinese spouse has influence not only the individual, but also the level of national security, national identity, social security, politics, economy, and culture. In addition, protecting their human rights and family treatments is indeed. The opposite views on politics and military between two sides influence the step of opening up and the development of policy for mainland Chinese spouses, policy-making needs more considerations. Facing globalization and multiculturalism, mainland Chinese spouses will become an important group on Taiwan in the future. Taiwan is a multi-ethnic country. and has shaped Taiwan's social and political problems. Although the influence of national identity from mainland Chinese spouses may not be obviously than economics and trade issues, it would be dangerous to our national security.
