Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 物理學系暨研究所 === 99 === Placing a 1 mm thick chloroaluminum phthalocyanine-ethanol solution parallel and vertical to the optical table respectively, we measure the corresponding transmittance and deflection of a CW HeNe laser light normally incident on the sample. As a result, we find that the transmittance increases monotonously with time when the sample is placed horizontally to the table. This is due to thermal and mass diffusions only. However, the transmittance sequentially ascends and descends with time when the sample is placed perpendicular to the table. We explain that the transmittance change with time by considering the impact of convection in addition to thermal and mass diffusions.
