Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 成人及繼續教育研究所 === 99 === The study is to explore the relationship between the school Human Resources development and the teacher organizational commitment in the elementary schools in Nantou County.
The main purpose of this study are:(1)to explore first, the current state of school human resources development and teacher organizational commitment in elementary schools,(2) to compare on the differences of school human resources development and teacher organizational commitment with different background variables,(3) to analyze the relations between the previous two and the predictive effect,(4)providing suggestions for school teachers and the authorities concerned.
Literature analysis and questionnaire survey are conducted in this research. The sample consisted of 620 public elementary school teachers in Nantou County. The ‘School human resources development and Teacher organizational commitment in Elementary school teachers survey Scale’ is the main instrument in this research, 594 are reclaimed, and 571 are useful. The percent of effective questionnaire is 92.09. Then run the database of effective questionnaires and discuss. The results of this research revealed:
1.The scale of school human resources development of the teachers is from median to high, but the ‘teacher career development’ still need promoting.
2.The scale of Teacher organizational commitment of the teachers is above median, and Effort Intention scores is the highest.
3.The school human resources development of teachers is significantly different in the background variables except school location and teaching period of service.
4.The organizational commitment of teachers is significantly different in the background variables except school location.
5.The school human resources development of teachers correlated with teacher organizational commitment.
6.The item of school organization development in school human resources development had the mostly predictability on teacher organizational commitment.
According to the results of the study, some suggestions are provided to the educational authorities concerned, school teachers and prospective researchers.
