Summary: | 碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 企業管理研究所 === 99 === This study mainly focuses on the human resource arrangement for a production line of a specific industry. Two mathematical programming models are developed. The first one is to minimize the total labor costs subject to production capacity and inventory level constraints. The results from the first model show that the workload of each production line is unbalanced. Hence, the second one tries to improve the situation by allowing the workforce transfer between any two production lines so that the profit can be maximized. The result show up to 43.7% of profit increment can be achieved. Hopefully, the proposed model sheds light on how to efficiently allocate the workforce for the industrial practitioners.
