As a result, obtaining the expected information immediately and completely has become an indispensable part of infrastructure for the related departments in the country. In this thesis, the application of panoramic image on reconnaissance system is investigated under the viewpoint of geospatial intelligence technology. Based on principle and practice of panorama, a system incorporating panoramic camera, GPS receiver, as well as Google Earth application software is developed as a reconnaissance framework for the verification of geospatial intelligence system. The system is considered to be applicable for many respects, such as the priori and posteriori of evidence collection during an important activity, the environment monitoring of danger zone, and the relief and rebuild of disaster site. In addition to extend the use of Google Earth, result is also considered to be contributive to the promotion of geospatial intelligence technology for our country.
