It also executes the life-span estimation of frame under running on standard paved road, ultimately to modify the stress spread of it. In relation to systematical static simulation, to use ESPRI to develop the 3D model of motorcycle frame, adopting HyperMesh 8.0 to construct the Limited Factor Model and to verify the factor quality. Next, the study used the Altair-Optistruct 8.0 to calculate the vertical, twisting strength, and state analysis, thereby testing the consistence between physical measuring and simulation, in order to facilitate the dynamic test later on. With respect to the dynamic simulation, at first this study accurately compared consistency between the physical measuring and simulation, to figure out the loading and accelerated records under motorcycle running on a standard paved road, such records were treated as loading conditions, along with “Dynamic analysis program for limited factors-LS-DYNA971”, a comparison of stress history was undertaken; finally, a analysis software for fatigue life-span-ETA-VPG/FATIGUE was adopted to demonstrate the destroyed section and its life value of the frame due to fatigue. As in the testing of accelerated anti-fatigue, through ETA-VPG, the tested outcome in terms of stress was used to derive the life value by means of stress-life approach. In summary, this study goes through the processes of systematic static, dynamic analysis, limited factor analyses, fatigue-life analyses and accelerated anti-fatigue analyses, and the like, to develop the computer integration technology for durability analysis of motorcycle which shall be of great application for the motorcycle industry.
