Questionnaires was collected from the 165 female directors of the six teaching hospitals in Taoyuan county. A total 117 of the 165 questionnaires was used for further analysis:
a.We evaluated the contributing factors of the life career development responsible for the work satisfaction in female supervisor directors from six aspects, ie family support, personal interest, value, work pressure, peers relationships, and work feedback.
b.We found that authority was the only significant factor contributing to work satisfaction among the factors studied.
This result might be useful in the life career planning to female directors in the human resources department of the teaching hospital.
