However, lack of communication between health care providers, which mainly means doctors and nurses, is one of the causes that put patients in danger or bad health outcome. Thus, the purpose of this study are to investigate how is communication between health care providers influences patients’ safety and quality of health care. 150 clinical nurses are sampling from a regional hospital in Tao-yuan. Questionnaire including personal information, self assessment in effect of team resource management (TRM). 80.7 % of participants completed the questionnaire. All statistical analyses were performed by using the SAS9.1.3 edition for Windows. The main results of this study are: (1) age and educational level are not associate with self efficacy in work among clinical nurses. (2) for those who have more positive attitude in TRM have higher score of self efficacy in work. (3) for those who had more participate in TRM courses have higher score of self efficacy in work.
