All education institutions, including high schools and elementary schools are all under the pressures to compete and survive. To improve educational quality and develop distinctive characteristics of the school has become the main strategy in order to survive. The main purpose of this research is to understand the perspective of professors, alumni and students on graduates'' core competency of Accounting Department. The purpose also includes the cultivation of student''s core competitiveness and improvement of teaching to probe into present course and design. The objectives of this survey are professors, alumni and students of Accounting Department of a northern university. The research finds that teachers, alumni and students at school have a significant difference in the following three major issues: “the importance and satisfaction of core competency”, “the importance and satisfaction of course design and core ability”, “the satisfaction of course design and core ability from alumni of different industries”. In addition in the curriculum project content, there are four(one) areas in which teachers (alumni) do not regard there is a significant disparity between importance and satisfaction, whereas the significant disparities exist in all the other areas. The result of this study suggests that the educational authorities should legislate to encourage Industry-University cooperation in real term, not only by strengthening educational training of teachers and career training of students, but also by encouraging enterprises to offer teaching cases and teacher''s initiatives in increasing innovative content of courses. The school should implement the educational objectives and policies as well as enhance students'' core competency.
