TFT-LCD process included Array, Cell, and Module, pass though many manufacture station, the source of hazardous subatances are very extensively, so the factors of affect capability of certain hazardous substances in TFT-LCD Module are very much.
This research applied six sigma method, and used Define, Measurement, Analyze, Improvement, and Control steps to success constructing IECQ QC080000 Green Product Management System. In case study company, no matter in input process or in-process control and warehouse management distinguish hazardous substance from normal substance. Finally, through XRF inspecting to check hazardorus substance, and continuous to improve.
Due to case study company through process capability analysis, box plot, and 2-sample T test to compared improvement before and after. The results were after appling 6 sigma method to constructing Green Product Management System, the Pb, Cd, Hg were significantly reduced, and though control chart, we can observe the hazardors substance content were stable than before improvement, so we can judge appling 6 sigma method to constructing Green Product Management System can control the Hazardous Substance content. After controled hazardors substance content, the case study company can pass international customer’s green product ask, and increase business profit and product output. In invisible benefit, we can protect earth, and human survive forever.
