For a successful and high performance marketing relationship are base on Pre-relationship Orientation. For gain the objective, organization has to focuses on way to build, maintain, and enhanced the relationship between supply chain organizations. This study use widely recognized factors related in a supply chain, including social distance, social capital, and social bond to determine pre-relationship orientation. In the organizational context, social bonds make customers tend toward self-disclosure, listening, and caring and help improve mutual understanding, openness between relationship partners, and degree of closeness. Social distance is an expression of sympathetic understanding differences, if follow the view that differences that can be understood also can be managed. Social capitals can reflect strong connections and extensive investment in relationship. As higher social capital in social network, organization will be likely to behave in ways that benefit other members in order to maintain their relationship. The empirical study aims at top 2000 manufactory enterprises selected from the directories of the 2009 Chinese Credit top 2000 firms in Taiwan. The research units are manufacturers and partnerships, and two mailings of the questionnaire were distributed to the senior managers, purchasing managers or experienced managers. Raising the total response to 218, this produced a final response rate of 11%. After using structural equation model(SEM)to analyze returned questionnaires, the results show fine goodness of fit in measuring model and structural model. In addition, 3 hypotheses are supported in p-value<0.05. This study found that the organization have strong connection will enhance the pre-relationship orientation. On the other hand, IT enabler and strategic resource path will enhance the relationship between socialization and pre-relationship orientation. In conclusion, the theoretical framework model concerning the influence of the degree of socialization and pre-relationship, when moderator by IT enabler and strategic resource path. This study hope will contribute to further studies and provide some suggestions for implementing management of the pre-relationship orientation in supply chains.
