The organizations like elementary schools are no exception. Selection of the section chief of information management, who is in charge of the information and computer education, arrangement of software and hardware in the school, is especially important. This study utilized the fuzzy Delphi method (FDM) and fuzzy analytic hierarchy process (FAHP) to analyze evaluation standards for the selection of elementary school teachers as an Information Technology Section Chief. The study was divided into two stages: The first stage summarized evaluation criteria collected from two expert groups: Principals and the Section Chiefs of Information Technology. The second stage adopted the FAHP to calculate the importance (weight) of each criterion, from the perspective of the two expert groups. The results revealed a slight difference in how principals and the Section Chief of Information Technology viewed the evaluation standards. To a certain extent, both groups attached importance to the four constructs and twenty-five criteria of the evaluation standard. Our results served as a reference (in the hopes of tendering more appropriate standards), for elementary school principals selecting a teacher as the Section Chief of Information Technology.
