The CAMEL: capital adequacy, asset quality, management capability, profitability and liquidity are utilized to analyze bank’s performance. The sample includes 29 Taiwan banks over year 2002 to 2008. The results show that (1) Capital adequacy is not significantly different after the adoption electronic trading, (2) Asset quality and loan loss coverage of bad loans are increasing after the adoption electronic trading, (3) Management efficiency measured by efficiency ratio and burden ratio is not significantly different after the adoption electronic trading, (4) Profitability measured by return on assets and return on equity is significantly higher after the adoption of electronic trading, (5) the liquidity ratio is significantly higher after the adoption of electronic trading.
