Aluminum, aluminum-silicon alloy and aluminum-copper alloy were used as coating materials. High temperature oxidation tests were carried out at 400 ℃ for 10, 50 and 100 hours. Cross-section microstructure as used to study the products and behavior for high temperature oxidation. A potentiostat was used to measure the corrosion behavior of the coating specimens under different solutions, such as 3.5wt% NaCl and 5wt% NaCl.
