This thesis investigated the relationship between human resource management practices and small and medium-sized enterprises from 2005-2010 in Vietnam. Previous research focused on personnel management in Vietnam some other company. Earlier research relevant to enterprises emphasized input and output employees such as enterprises efficiency. The currency study differs from the previous researches by examining principles of human resource management (HRM) to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) including performance and strategies. The objectives to be to gain insights into ways in which the managers of enterprises may be use the findings to enhance small company performance levels in Vietnam. Questionnaires designed to be used as a research instrument to measure HRM practices. Data collected from questionnaires.The findings of this research indicated that both of the firms’ size and kind of industry are very important factor for Vietnam SMEs HRM development.
