From Hung-Chin Fang’s master thesis (department of chemistry,ntu,2009),BMVPA-4 interacting with different structure DNA is diverse in Raman spectrum,especially in extraordinary duplex DNA. In my study,I study that different sequences in duplex DNA interact with BMVPA-4,and I hope that BMVPA-4 is a DNA probe for special sequences. In experiment,when BMVA-4 interacts with AT-rich duplex DNA,it shows red shift in vibration mode of 1543 cm-1 as DNA concentration increasing. BMVPA-4 binds with different AT-rich duplex DNA,and red shift in 1543 cm-1 are different from each others. Red shift in 1543 cm-1 and deconvolution in 1543 cm-1 can identify different compose of continuous A-T sequences,and than BMVPA-4 is minor groove binding with DNA. In conclusion,BMVPA-4 is a potential Raman probe of AT-rich duplex DNA. It will be a drug to be used for curing AT-rich cancer or diseases in future.
