It is achieved by government employees’ work spontaneity in certain organization culture. The Executive Yuan offers “Service Quality Award” and “Service Evaluation Plans” in order to enhance service quality with the hope to become a commercialized government.
This study is based on the analysis of literature review in service quality and service evaluation theories. The participants of in-depth interviews are the service providers (government employees) and receivers (local people) at Agriculture Development Department of Taoyuan County Government along with the scholars in the filed. The study analyzes people’s degree of satisfaction towards the service provided by the department in order to explore whether service quality and service evaluation of administration offices meet clients’ demand. The magnification of the study is to suggest ways to improve service quality.
